Women On Top!

Women On Top is a unique drama collaboration between Caste Away Arts and the women of Kairos WWT. Together we celebrated the voices of women in theatre. This Coventry project began in the lead up to International Women’s Week 2011.

This exciting project is led by Reena Jaisiah, Creative Director. The first project was initially a 6 week course designed to explore the key elements of drama in order for these talented women to embark on their very own journey of writing production and performance. This project has explored experimentation with voice, movement, creating characters through improvisation techniques and devising theatre with mime. Fun packed and learner lead, Women on Top has proven to be empowering and valuable in acquiring skills and confidence. Midnight Bluebells Ring Out Loudly was the devised piece by all the women of the project . See where this journey has taken us:
